CS Electrical Training Centre ensures, maintains and provides quality training (theory and practrical) throughout to meet agreed standards within a national framework.

Electrical Module's 4-6
PV GREENCARD
Basic house wiring course. 4 Weeks, Learn how to install plugs, lights, steel and pvc conduit,DB boards, circuit breakers, energy meters, theoretically and practically according to SANS 10142-1.
Electrical motors and motor starters. 4 Week course on how to learn to install from wiring diagrams, star delta, DOL, sequence starts methods A-E, single and three phase forward reverse, transformer connections and Dc motor theory. Practically and theoretically according to SANS 10142-1.
This is a five day theoretical/practical course. Candidates learn about electromechanical basics and functionality of a PV system, how to install systems correctly according to acceptable standards and to plan and manage a PV Installation, including battery backup to client’s satisfaction.

PLC Basic & Advanced
Trade Test
This is a 4 day basic theoretical electrical course on Ohms' Law, Kirchhoffs' Law, Transformer Ratios, safety devices and testing of an electrical installation
Two week course on basic and advanced PLC programming and VSD installation.
After all the relevant training and experience, a candidate can then apply for approval to do a Trade Test. Its a two day practical test to measure a candidates competency in the trade as electrician.
